Our social sauna experience combines relaxation with a friendly, communal atmosphere. These sessions may have multiple parties sharing the sauna together. Each session is 75 minutes long, providing time for a few heat-cool cycles.

The private sauna experience is just like the social sauna experience, except that you will have the entire sauna dedicated to your group.

Traditional Finnish wood-fired saunas offer a unique way to relax and rejuvenate, and are quite different from other saunas you might have tried in your local gym or at a hotel. We invite you to try it at least once – you might be pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable and beneficial the experience can be!

Each session starts with an overview of how the cycle of heat – cool – relax – hydrate works. Your guide will be there to answer any questions you have, and make sure everyone is comfortable and safe.

Each participant is provided a fresh towel and bottled water as part of the experience, as well as a private, clean, dry area to change.

To prepare for a sauna session, it’s recommended to stay hydrated, avoid heavy meals beforehand, and wear comfortable, breathable clothing or swimwear (avoid clothing with metal fasteners!)

Bring comfortable, breathable clothing or swimwear. There are clean, dry, private changing areas available.
Bring easily removable footwear like sandals for maximum comfort during your cool down sessions.

For our social sessions, we limit the sauna to 8 people. During private sessions, you’re welcome to bring a group of up to 10 people.

During our Social experiences, you may share the sauna with people from other groups. This is a very traditional Finnish way of enjoying sauna!

Private sessions are just that! For one price, you get the sauna to yourself, and you’re welcome to bring up to 10 people total to your session at no extra cost.

We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for rescheduling or cancelling appointments. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled time are non-refundable.

Our Minnesota made Kuuma stove can efficiently heat the sauna up to a temperature around 200f. A good temperature range for an enjoyable sauna is between 170f-200f. The temperature can be adjusted with stove throttle lever and the room vents.

Plan on an hour of heat-up time to fully let the heat soak into the wood for that good, all encompassing heat.

All of our rentals include a bundle of kiln dried oak firewood for each day of the rental. Each bundle has enough wood for a 2 hour sauna session. Additional bundles are available for sale.

We provide premium oak firewood, as oak has the highest heat output and longest burn. Low moisture kiln dried wood also has the benefits of easier ignition, hotter flames, and less smoke out the chimney.

We provide everything you need for an amazing sauna experience!

• Kiln dried oak firewood – Enough for a two hour sauna session per day of your rental. Additional firewood is available for purchase.
• Outdoor Shower – Great for cleaning off before your session, and cooling off between rounds. Hook up a hose (one 50′ hose provided) to your spigot
• Plunge Tank – 100 gallon galvanized steel tank is big enough for most people. Just add water (and ice for maximum effect!)
• Outdoor Lighting – Built in exterior lights provide a soft area light for sauna sessions on cold Minnesota evenings
• On-Board battery power – Power for the trailer lighting is provided by an on-board battery. The battery has enough capacity to operate all the lights for multiple evening sessions. For longer rentals, the trailer can be hooked up to a 110 volt outlet with an extension cord

The sauna trailer is about 30 feet long, including the tongue, and about 8.5 feet wide. Additionally, the tow vehicle is 20′ long. You’ll need enough room for the truck to safely pull the trailer to a clear, level area. There will also need to be room to turn around when the rental is over. The sauna is about 12.5 feet tall in the raised travel position, so a vertical clearance to structures or tree branches should be at least 13 feet along the entire route to the rental location.

The sauna will be delivered at 5PM on the day of your rental, and picked up at 3PM on the final day of your rental. We may be able to accommodate other times on a case by case basis. Please email us at bookings@saunable.com for more details.

Or, if you really want to spread out, there is enough room for 4 six foot tall adults to lay down (two on the upper benches, two on the lower benches)!

Yes! The “cool room” measures about 8′ x 8′, and includes a curtained off corner for changing. The space for changing measures about 3.5′ x 3.5′. There are also coat hooks for jackets and robes, as well as cubbies to store your street clothes after you change.It depends on how friendly you are! For a full refund of rental fees, cancellation must be made at least fourteen (14) full days prior to the standard equipment delivery time (5:00 PM) on the day the rental term begins. For a 50% refund of rental fees, cancellation must be made at least seven (7) full days prior to the standard delivery time (5:00 PM) on the day the rental term begins. Cancellations made less than seven (7) full days prior to the standard delivery time (5:00 PM) on the day the rental term begins receive NO REFUND.
